Day 1 — Lombok to Sumbawa, Overnight near Labuan Jambu
Your trip starts with morning pickup from your hotel in Lombok.
We drive by private car to Kayangan Port in East Lombok. The drive takes around 2.5 hours depending on your hotel location and road conditions.
From Kayangan Port, we cross by public ferry to Poto Tano Port in West Sumbawa. After arriving in Sumbawa, the journey continues by road through local villages, coastline views, rural landscapes, and Sumbawa’s natural scenery.
On the way, we can stop at a local restaurant for lunch before continuing toward Labuan Jambu.
In the late afternoon or evening, we arrive near Labuan Jambu, check in at the hotel, and rest for the night. Your guide or local team will brief you about the next morning’s boat trip.

Day 2 — Whale Shark Snorkeling in Saleh Bay, Return to Lombok
Early in the morning, around 04:00 AM, we depart by motorized boat to the whale shark point in Saleh Bay.
The best chance to see whale sharks is usually around sunrise, when the sea is calmer and the local fishing platforms are active.
When whale sharks are found, the local crew will guide the snorkeling session. You can enter the water, keep a respectful distance, and enjoy swimming near one of the ocean’s most impressive gentle giants.
After the snorkeling session, we return to Labuan Jambu. You will have time for breakfast, shower, and check-out before starting the return journey to Lombok.
We drive back to Poto Tano Port, cross by ferry to Kayangan Port, and continue to your hotel or next destination in Lombok.
